Dr Ray Pugh passed away surrounded by family on the Sunday before Christmas.  Ray has been a friend of kids, families and the Iowa Community for many many years.  Dr Pugh was the Director of the Des Moines Y Camp in Boone, home of the ISSDA Summer Camp program, for 22 years from1970 to 1992.  Ray also coached football, was a Professor at Drake University, a Public Speaker and Motivator (he had presented at over 150 commencement ceremonies), and founder/leader of the group “Good Time Gang” where he shared his message of having good clean fun with thousands of kids in schools all over Iowa.
