CLAY COUNTY PREPARING TO OPEN NEW JAIL

The ISSDA Jail's Committee recently toured the nearly completed Clay County Jail.  Picutured above are Sheriff Randy Krukow and Jail Administrator Dan Pullen.  This is a well designed facility and the Jail's Committee appreciates the opportunity to view and provide input on this project.  We thank Sheriff Krukow and Jail Administrator Pullen for their hospitality!

Informaiton on new jail is as follows:

Total of 30 Beds with Intake Capacity of 12

                2- 6 Inmate Housing Units

                2- 4 Inmate Housing Units

                2- Individual Housing Units for Medical/Behavioral Segregation

1-   8 Inmate Work Release Unit

 

Intake/Booking Ability to Hold 12 Detainees

 

5 Video Visitation Areas

 

16,255 Square Feet which includes new Sheriff’s Office

 

5.6 Million Bond Issued

 

Officially opening on or about July 1st
