This fall Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller secured a $6.00 per dose rebate, for public entities in Iowa, for the opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone, manufactured by Amphastar. I have attached our office’s instructional release on the Amphastar Naloxone rebate program. Public entities, including sheriff departments, county departments of health, and county-owned hospitals and medical facilities may be eligible for the rebate. As you may be aware, the Amphastar Naloxone product can have a nasal mister attached to the dispenser for easy, non-needle dosing.
Rebate requests must be submitted at the end of each calendar quarter for Amphastar-manufactured Naloxone syringes purchased during that calendar quarter. Rebate requests and supporting documentation must be received by the 23rd day of the month following the end of each quarter
