Training Announcement 2021

Indian Hills Community College has been designated by the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy as a Reserve Academy. We will begin holding classes for reserve officers to complete their certification. ILEA requires that all modules be taken in order.

Dates for the modules are as follows:

July 9, 5p to 10p
July 10, 8a to 5p
Module C
Aug 13, 5p to 10p
Aug 14, 7a to 5p
Module E
October 8, 5p to 10p
October 9, 7a to 5p
Firearms Module
September 17, 8a to 5p
September 18, 8a to 5p
September 24, 8a to 5p
September 25, 8a to 5p
Module B
July 23, 5p to 10p
July 24, 8a to 5p
Module D
August 20, 5p to 10p
August 21, 8a to 5p
Module F
October 29, 5p to 10p
October 30, 8a to 3p

Each module is $130, and will require 4 students to cover instructor costs. If a department is sending more than 1 officer contact us for reduced pricing after the 4 person minimum has been reached.

The firearms module will be $300 and will require the officer to furnish 1000 rounds of practice ammo and 100 rounds of Duty ammo.

The training will take place at the RURAL EMERGENCY SERVICES TRAINING CENTER 16433 Truman Street, Ottumwa IA 52501

Dates for module testing will be discussed during classes.
