Delaware County Hosting Catching Predators Training2026 Catching Predators Flyer DCSO.pdfThe Delaware County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a 2-day training course titled “Catching Predators Online” on September 9th and 10th, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office This course is designed for law enforcement personnel interested in learning how to initiate and conduct online predator investigations within their communities. The training will cover topics including undercover profile creation, entrapment considerations, evidence gathering, case building, meetups/takedowns, interviews, and court testimony. Participants will also have hands-on opportunities to begin online chatting investigations with instructor assistance. The instructor, Sergeant Dave Murguia, has extensive experience conducting online enticing and sexual exploitation investigations at both the state and federal levels. The cost of the training is $350 per attendee. Please make your payment out to Murguia Online Investigations LLC and mail your payment to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office or bring your payment on the first day of class. Please bring a department-issued laptop and charger. Seats are limited. Attached is the training flyer with additional details.
