Guthrie County Hiring Dispatcher
Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office Full-Time and Part-Time Dispatcher. Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time and part-time Dispatcher. Responsibilities include but are not limited to receiving 911 and administrative calls, operating CAD dispatching software, test radios, pagers, storm sirens, etc. as needed, prepare and maintain a variety of files and filing systems. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalency NCIC Certificate or the ability to acquire within specified periods of employment. Jail School Certificate or the ability to acquire within specified periods of employment. CPR Certificate Valid Iowa Driver’s License Hours: To be determined. Shifts involve days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting part-time hourly wage: $21.00/hr Starting full-time hourly wage: $25.00/hr Part-time benefits include IPERS and PTO. Full-time benefits include IPERS, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, paid vacation, sick time, personal days and comp time.
